What Is In The Name?

KOWA is a party open to people’s needs, one that involves the participation of all involved and accounts to the people. Our unique name, KOWA has significant political meaning in major Nigerian languages. For instance, in Yoruba it means ‘let them come’, in Hausa it means ‘everybody’ and in Igbo it means ‘to clarify or explain’. The word therefore expresses boldness and innovation, inclusiveness and participation as well as transparency and accountability.

KOWA believes the change Nigeria needs involves everybody and together we can make this happen. It is therefore in the hand of every Nigerian to make that right decision, fight for their rights and also fight corruption built around the Nigerian politics, thus our slogan “no be for we hand e dey?
